This policy explains what information ConvertAnyVideo (“we”, “us”), available at convertanyvideo.com, collects and how it is used.

Your files

Files you convert are processed entirely by your own web browser on your own device. They are never uploaded to our servers or to any third party, and we have no access to them. When you close or reload the page, the files and results are removed from your browser’s memory.

Components loaded from third parties

To convert video and audio, your browser downloads the open-source FFmpeg engine (WebAssembly) from the jsDelivr or unpkg content delivery networks, and, for HEIC photos, the open-source heic2any library from jsDelivr. These providers receive the technical information any website request includes, such as your IP address and browser type. No files or file contents are sent to them.

Server logs

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records basic technical data for each page request (IP address, browser, pages visited, date and time) for security and to keep the site running. These logs are kept for a limited time and are not used to identify you.

Cookies

ConvertAnyVideo does not set any cookies.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Because we do not store your files or create user accounts, we hold very little information about you. Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, UK or California), you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Contact us at contact@convertanyvideo.com and we will help.
