Which audio formats are supported?

You can convert MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, OGG, OPUS, FLAC, WMA, AIFF and AMR files, and you can pull the audio out of any video file.

Can I choose the bitrate?

Yes. Open Advanced settings to set the bitrate (64–320 kbps), sample rate, mono or stereo, volume, fade in/out and a start and end time.

Will converting to MP3 lower the quality?

MP3 is a compressed format, so converting from a lossless file like WAV or FLAC removes some detail you usually can’t hear. At 192 kbps or higher, most people can’t tell the difference. Converting MP3 to WAV can’t add back detail that was already removed.

Are my files uploaded?

Yes. Conversion runs inside your own web browser, so your files are never uploaded to our servers or anyone else’s. Nobody can see them, and nothing is stored after you close the tab.

Is it free?

Yes, it’s completely free. There’s no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many files you convert. Each file can be up to 1 GB.
